See all the pictures which complete the description. Early Fred Harvey era ingot coin silver (SEE BELOW) cuff bracelet with traditional stamped Native American designs including a Thunderbird.

Hallmarked "Silver Arrow Products Coin Silver", made from ingot silver coins. Silver Arrow Products was one of the companies who made Fred Harvey Jewelry out of traditional Coin Silver. MEASUREMENT: See last picture which shows how to measure a cuff.

Take one you already have and compare it so you will be certain this will fit you. Measures 6-3/4 total inside circumference and is approximate wrist size. This measurement INCLUDES the gap. The gap is the distance between the ends. On this bracelet, the gap is 1-1/8 and that is part of the of total inside circumference.

Measures 7/8" high at center and is 1/4" wide at back ends. In the US, the coin silver standard was established in the 1820s to be 90% silver and 10% copper.

When used in association with vintage Native American jewelry, it is a term used to refer to the alloy that resulted when US silver coins were melted down to reuse in jewelry making. As part of the business, Navajo and Pueblo silversmiths (as well as other craftsmen) were hired to create souvenirs. The earlier pieces are of coin silver and all hand done from the 20's and 30's.

Some of the 40's & 50's were marked Sterling and were from different shops & makers, like Silver Arrow, Maisels and Bell Trader, still all hand wrought. This jewelry is recognized by certain symbols on the outside, like eagles (or Thunderbirds), arrows, Whirling logs, horse (looks like dogs), feathers, cactus and snakes. Some have turquoise stones and some do not. I do send invoices to pay from.
