Navajo Fred Harvey Silver Squash Blossom Dangle Earrings Vintage Tucson Estate

  
From a Tucson estate and remembrance of some trading post in the hinterlands once upon a time (or perhaps discovered in one of the fabled downtown curio shops right here in the Old Pueblo) is this obviously vintage pair of Navajo silver squash blossom dangle earrings. The ornaments feature bead-like tops constructed in the traditional manner, with old style stamp work to boot.

Currently still suspended from their trader supplied button front silver ear wires, there is plenty of visual charisma and a distinctly vintage appearance. That said and while arguably within a broader framework of the more wearable so called Fred Harvey alternative to traditional aesthetic adornment, they are clearly separated from more recent copy versions by "the look". Weight is good for the form at about 4.6 total grams on my portable digital scale. Condition is quite fine with a wonderful aura of age as seen in the pics. The old "STERLING" ear wires function properly and are ready for your requirements - these could easily be switched out for some more current alternative, though I'm not sure why you would want to.

Typical and expected signs of period ear adornment under the toning simply validates a history. A look at the pics should give a good idea of appearance and condition. Size is about 1 11/16 in.

The squash blossom dangers are about 1 3/32 in.
