Handmade, hand-stamped sterling silver belt with repousse' work, on a black leather belt. Tested as being sterling silver. The Fred Harvey Era refers to a time frame from about the mid 1950s back to around the turn of the last century. Tourist bought Native Jewelry and other items while traveling by Rail and later by Highway. This great old bracelet is from that era.
It was tested as being either sterling. 925 or at least coin. Maker: Most likely Navajo made, but there is no maker's hallmark (which is common of Native American jewelry made in this era). SIZE: Conchos measure 2 3/4" wide x 2 1/4 high" and'butterfly' shape conchos measure 1" w x 2 1/8" h. Buckle is 3" w x 2 1/4" h.
Belt is 41 3/4 long overall. CONDITION: Good for its age, normal wear expected, vintage. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description.
