FRED HARVEY ERA OLD NAVAJO Sterling SILVER TURQUOISE petit point & hand stamp work CUFF BRACELET. This is a wonderful natural turquoise bracelet with hand stamping that dates to around 1940s. It has 8 "petit points" also sometimes called "snake eyes" all in brilliant blue sleeping beauty turquoise. On the sides are hand stamping silver work in a symetrical pattern. Each stone is set in a little concho shaped dome and the silver work is really fine on this rare Bell Sterling heavier piece of jewelry. Fred Harvey Era bracelets were designed and made by Native American artists commissioned by various trading posts to sell to tourists traveling throughout the southwest either by rail or by car. As such they have a lighter profile than other Navajo pieces and often incorporate art deco style. This one is heavier than typical Fred Harvey which makes it a collectible and impactful piece. Weighs 17.8g with nice age patina on front and back but very lustrous silver ready to wear. INTERIOR OF THE BRACELET MEASURES 5.
