Description: A handmade, hefty feeling, Fred Harvey Era cuff bracelet. It has gorgeous "snake eye" blue and green, natural turquoise stones.
Hefty, hand stamped, and handmade! Maker: Most likely Navajo or Pueblo, but there is not a maker's mark (as was common of Native Style jewelry from this era). Age: Vintage (Circa 1920s - 30s).
Size: Inside circumference measures 5 1/2" plus there is just over a 7/8" gap (making this bracelet fit about a 6 1/4 wrist). It is about 1/2 wide across the face and weighs 29.7 g. Additional info: The Fred Harvey Era refers to a time frame from about the mid 1950s back to around the turn of the last century. Tourist bought Native Jewelry and other items while traveling by Rail and later by Highway. This old bracelet is from that era and likely came from one of the shops that made several of these.
It was tested as being either sterling. 925 or at least coin.
Condition: Good for its age. Normal wear and minor imperfections expected on used and vintage items. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description. Western Trading Post is family owned and operated and can trace it's roots back to 1877.
