This Fred Harvey era bracelet is well made and classic. From about 1900 to the mid 20th Century, the Fred Harvey Company helped popularize the Southwest among Eastern U. S residents by advertising Native American arts and culture in Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway calendars and publications.

Fred Harvey Hotel gift shops were stocked with jewelry, which tourists bought up. Back then, even pieces made for tourists were not only well rendered but still collectible today. Case in point, this piece made of Sterling Silver which was done to make the bracelet affordable for the tourist. And even so, it was made with natural green turquoise that is real and authentic (and stamped as such), and the extensive stamping of the sterling silver and the applique stamped were all hand done. A Navajo Truly an exemplary souvenir bracelet.

The bracelet measures about 5"? Around using a tape measure on the inside, with a 1"? Gap- The turquoise cabochon is about 21mmx12mmwide by 26mmwide. Highly collectible era and beautiful natural turquoise!
