Old Vintage FRED HARVEY ERA Navajo CERRILLOS Turquoise Sterling Silver Bracelet

  

This is an eye-catching Vintage Fred Harvey era Navajo sterling silver bracelet. This beautiful Split shank bracelet contains natural 3 Cerrillos turquoise gem stones. Cerrillos turquoise mine is located in Santa Fe County, in the north-central portion of New Mexico.

Cerrillos is the oldest historically documented mining district in the United States. Cerrillos has produced more turquoise than any other site in the Southwest and events that transpired at Cerrillos in the 1880's led directly to the recognition of turquoise as a valuable and desirable gemstone. Sides stones of the bracelet are separated with center stone with silver beaded bars.

Hand stamped Cyclone, Cactus and headdress on both sides of the bracelet. There is no purity mark, however it has been tested positive for sterling silver. The inside measurement from tip to tip is approximately 5-5/8" and the opening measurement between the tip is approximately 1-1/4".

Approximate width of the bracelet 2-1/2(across inside). Approximate size of the center stone is 22mm L, 13mm W.
