Contemporary leather cuff with silver ingot arrows made by the famous Santa Fe silversmith BUFFALO. This piece is reminiscent of the Fred Harvey Era of cuffs and bracelets made in the 1930's.
Buffalo's work is featured in the Sundance catalog and is inspired by Native American silverware. He learned the old, traditional techniques of early Navajo smiths and prefers to work in ingot silver, hand forging and finishing his pieces with stamps hes made himself. This is contemporary piece that definitely has a vintage feeling of being handmade. Arrows represent PROTECTION in Southwest folklore.
