This is a very OLD vintage sterling silver and petrified wood cuff bracelet from the Fred Harvey / Route 66 era. This cuff probably dates to the 1930's-40's.It is unmarked sterling, fabricated by a Navajo silversmith for the trading posts along Route 66. The petrified wood agate is a warm reddish orange and black color. It is triangle shaped, set in a plain bezel, surrounded by rain beads and wire work. The cuff has stamps of thunderbirds, arrows, and crescents. The face is 1" wide tapering to 1/4".
It is 6.5 including the gap. Weight is 20 grams on my postal scale. It has a dark patina. I leave polishing to you if desired. This cuff looks great when worn, not too overwhelming or heavy. Like most jewelry from this era, it is unsigned by the maker, and this cuff does not have any trading post symbols.
Not drawn to a magnet.
