This Navajo handmade sterling silver, Fred Harvey Era (1930's - 40's) pin/brooch has a very animated, wonderfully made bug with beautiful, mottled, blue green turquoise stones forming the body and having 6 legs, large silver ball eyes, and antennae. It lies upon an elliptical, stylized leaf shaped background of sterling silver that has, at each end, repousse button designs and gorgeous, stamped designs. If you are a collector of bug pins, this is a must have! The stones have some slight, natural fractures that are solid and secure and actually add to the beauty.
