Vtg. FRED HARVEY ERA Sterling Silver Bracelet Southwestern Symbols

  
Fred Harvey era jewelry was made by the Fred Harvey Company in the first half of the 20th Century from 1900 to 1955 to sell to tourists who visited the Southwest. It was mostly hand made, some was machine made, all highly collectible.

It was known for it's use of important Native American symbols. The bracelet in this sale features mounds of silver where you might expect to see stones and various symbols. There is a cactus which is a smbol of the desert, a cactus flower which is a symbol of courtship and what I think might be a Hogan symbol which means home The bracelet measures 5 1/2" around the inside plus a 3/4" gap.

It is 1 1/8 " wide at the front down to 1/4" wide at the tips. The bracelet was polished when we acquired it and is in excellent condition.
